LD Constructions is honored to be part of the development of the four-story, 89-unit TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Reidsville, Georgia, a project that marks a major milestone in the region’s hospitality growth. The official groundbreaking ceremony took place on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., at the prime location between Shuman Farms office and the Food Lion Shopping Center on Hwy. 23.

This long-envisioned hotel project was first initiated in 2019, with progress temporarily delayed during the COVID-19 pandemic, and has now been revived with strong backing from new partners who believe in Reidsville’s long-term potential as a hospitality destination.

The upcoming TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Reidsville is designed as an extended-stay, all-suite hotel focused on comfort, convenience, and value for both business and leisure travelers.

Key site and concept highlights include:

  • 89-suite, four-story hotel property
  • Extended-stay concept with residential-style comfort
  • Strategic location along Hwy. 23 near key businesses and services
  • Development on 2.11 acres of land
  • 16,000 square feet of space in front of the hotel available for lease to restaurants and various businesses

This development is expected to stimulate local commerce, attract visitors, and create new employment opportunities in Reidsville and surrounding Tattnall County.

Ceremony Highlights and Community Support

The groundbreaking began with a blessing ceremony performed by Priest Bhavin, setting an auspicious tone for the project’s future.

  • Jackie Trim, President of the Greater Tattnall Chamber of Commerce, opened the event with a prayer and warm welcome, expressing gratitude to investors, contractors, and the Marriott brand.
  • Reidsville Mayor Vickie Nail highlighted the city’s growth alongside Optim Medical Center–Tattnall and expressed appreciation for the new investment and the provision of quality lodging.
  • Tattnall County Commission Chairman Bill Kicklighter spoke on behalf of the commissioners, emphasizing their excitement for the hotel and its importance to both Reidsville and Tattnall County.

The project’s original innovator and investor, Zuber Malek, shared how the initiative began in 2019 and was paused due to COVID-19, and how the renewed partnership and vision now extend to additional hotel plans in Vidalia, Dublin, and Claxton.

Project finance is being led by Niraj Sheth, owner of LD Capital Residential Mortgage, LLC (Dunwoody, Georgia), joined by his sons Dhrumel Sheth and Maunick Sheth, who are actively involved in the business. The hotel building contractor is Luis Felipe Lleras Construction of Dublin, and upon completion, the property will be professionally managed by Liberty Hospitality, LLC.

The ceremony also brought together numerous community and county representatives, underscoring the broad local support for this development.
